Lots To Be Thankful For At Harvest Fest!

Pumpkin pies, clear skies and stunning new show homes left Terrace Park buzzing with excitement as hundreds of families and friends gathered to enjoy Harvest Fest during the Thanksgiving weekend.

Dream Development put on this amazing event to celebrate the bounty of fall and help guests prepare their taste buds for Thanksgiving with delicious pumpkin or apple pie slices, specialty bistro coffee and other refreshments. Whether it was enjoying the tasty treats, shopping for a new home, or just celebrating the long weekend in the community, we’re grateful to everyone who joined in on the fun and made Harvest Fest a great family experience.

There were many family-friendly activities that people of all ages could enjoy.

Children embraced a world of colourful adventure with a Monsters University themed bouncy castle and kid's games. A balloon twister and tattoo artist also helped bring their imagination to life with dozens of crazy designs seen all over the central park area of Terrace Park. The neighborhood's new playground was also a family favourite, drawing dozens of wildly excited kids to climb and run one last time before the snow hit Edmonton (which was a day after Harvest Fest!).

The first 100 families who showed up to Harvest Fest were able to pick out a FREE pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. If you were too late to snag one, there’s always next year! 😉

Terrace Park’s beautiful, single family laned homes were busy all day with hundreds of potential new homeowners. Our two participating show home builders - Homes by Avi and Landmark Homes - provided several upgraded detached garage model homes with prices starting from just the $380’s. These well-crafted homes also offer an assortment of extra features including generous front porches (some with glass railing), front and backyard landscaping, low maintenance vinyl fencing, exclusive access to a vast green space and brand new K to 9 school just outside your front door.
If you missed out on the event, you can still visit the six Terrace Park show homes at 19A Avenue and 25A Street every Monday to Thursday from 3 pm to 8 pm and weekends from noon to 5 pm.

For some added excitement, an Enter To Win contest in the show homes provided guests with an opportunity to win one of two $250 Canadian Tire Gift Cards.

Thank you to everyone who came out and enjoyed Laurel Green’s first ever Harvest Fest with us! It was a huge success and a special day for the community.
