Edmonton Heritage Festival

August 4, 2018 - August 6, 2018

Experience the world in a weekend with Edmonton's annual celebration of Canadian multiculturalism at the Edmonton Heritage Festival! Sample delicious food, enjoy free entertainment and celebrate Canada's vibrant multicultural heritage at William Hawrelak Park. Just a reminder: There is NO PUBLIC PARKING on site. Festival goers are encouraged to Park & Ride using ETS, bike or walk.

Hlinka Gretzky Cup Presented By RAM
August 6th - August 11th, 2018

Can't wait for the 2018-19 NHL season to start? Get your hockey fix in time before the NHL season starts with the Hlinka Gretzky Cup held at Rogers Place. Featuring some of the world's greatest hockey nations: Finland, Russia, Sweden, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Switzerland, United States and yours truly, Canada, the tournament will feature the world's elite 2019 prospects as they compete in a best-on-best tournament showdown.

The Edmonton Folk Music Festival has become a forefront as one of the leading folk festivals in the world, and this year is no different. Join spectators and performers from all around the world at Gallagher Park in North America's largest music festival! You can buy packs of tickets for a single day or the entire festival. Tickets are going fast so make sure you snag some before they're all gone! Fortunately, children under 11 and seniors 80 and up can enjoy the festival for free, making it a great event for the whole family to enjoy.

Animethon is Canada's longest running animation (anime) themed  festival for fans who love Japanese anime and culture. Held at MacEwan University, this year's convention offers a wide range of activities that include cosplay contests, video game tournaments, meet & greet with special guests and concerts & dances to name a few.

The Edmonton Fringe Festival returns to the heart of Old Strathcona for a weekend of innovative theatre performances and outdoor activities! With more than 1600 performances, 38 venues and 65 vendors, there will be entertainment of all kinds for everyone to enjoy. Whether it's catching an indoor show, cheering on a street performer or grabbing a corndog - that's what it means to be 'fringing'.
