Hundreds of families in Laurel Green are getting ready for the best spring and summer ever in their new homes and community.

Of course, the City operated Meadows Recreation Centre is just across 23 Avenue and features baseball diamonds, soccer pitches, and football fields. There’s also tennis courts with a practice wall and even courts for the hot new sport of pickleball. Beautiful swimming pools, a waterslide, and a dive pool are available.

Meadows Recreation Centre offers public library, two NHL-sized indoor rinks, fitness center, large pool with waterslide, whirlpool, steam room, gymnasium, Multi-purpose rooms with an indoor playground, child minding area, party rooms, program rooms, and community rooms. You can choose the All Facility Pass membership which includes access to all City facilities and drop-in instructor-led programs. See Admission and Memberships for more information.

Laurel Green has its own amenities for your health and enjoyment. The walking path system is complete and winds through the community and around a storm water lake. The playground, picnic area, and park are also ready to enjoy. And soon, the new Svend Hansen K-9 public school will open in the community.
